The castle of Welsperg
At the station you follow the street to the centre of Welsberg. At the church you turn right till you arrive to the school centre an there you take left (walking time ca. 30 min.). It is open for visitors in summer from July till September. A nature trail surrounds the castle and the ruin Thurn. Students, associations and village clubs as well as the forestry office arranged the path and contributed some distinctive elements – sometimes funny, sometimes impressive and sometimes suddenly surprising.
