Messner Mountain Museum Firmian
In the heart of Castel Firmiano/Sigmundskron castle, the high-altitude mountaineer Reinhold Messner realized the “Messner Mountain Museum”.
Reachability from the railway station of Sigmundskron/Ponte d'Adige: Once you come out from the station, turn right till the main road, passing over the bridge on the river Adige/Etsch in direction Frangarto/Frangart. At the fruit- store Konrad Oberrauch turn left following the path nr.1, turning right after 600 mt. From here you just have to walk uphill till the museum.
